Cape Fear Christian Academy’s middle school boys basketball team defeated visiting St. Patrick’s of Fayetteville, 50-18, on Thursday afternoon as Zeke Brock scored 29 points.
Jakson Cullen added 10 points as the Eagles improved to 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference.
David Clearman had six points for CFCA, Landon Alphin scored three and Wyatt Medlin added two.
Alex Schenk led St. Patrick’s with 10 points.
St. Patrick’s does not have a middle school girls team.
The Eagles were without Brock in the season opener as he played with the junior varsity at New Life Christian Academy on Tuesday while the younger team hosted Berean Baptist.
CFCA’s middle school teams visit Fayetteville Christian on Monday, Nov. 26.
