A 4-3 varsity baseball loss at Union Pines on Tuesday dropped Harnett Central to 5-10 on the season and 3-4 in the Tri-County 3-A Conference.

Johnny Grizzard, Jackson Jones, Paul Gervase, Matthew Collins, Jackson Yarbrough, Baker Nelson and Matthew Bailey had hits for the Trojans.

Nelson and Austin Swan were credited with RBIs.

Central hosts the Vikings on Friday night.
