Western Harnett has two boys and two girls on the All-Tri-County Six 3-A Conference basketball teams.

Central Carolina Community College signees Jamar Butler and Darnell Carver have been recognized for the boys.

Junior Lahaina “LaLa” Bell and senior Kasey Genthe have been honored from the Lady Eagles.

Butler averaged 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.0 steals.

Carver averaged 13.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals.

Bell had a 21.4 scoring average and pulled down 8.2 rebounds per game.

Genthe averaged just 2.9 points but contributed in other areas.
