Hawk baseball tops Village Christian to move to 3-0

Triton’s varsity baseball team improved to 3-0 with a 10-0 win over visiting Village Christian on Thursday night.

Ethan Hedgepeth pitched a complete game two-hitter as the Hawks prevailed in five innings.

Triton surpassed its win total in 2018.

“The kids have worked hard and it’s starting to show,” said Hawks coach Joey Miriello.

Austin Riewestahl had a three-run double for Triton. Colton Neighbors stole second, third and home for the Hawks.

The game ended as Dalen Thompson drove in a pair of runs with two out in the fifth.

Triton hosts Midway on Monday night.
