Neva Chance and Coach Mark Whitman won girls golf honors from the All American Conference.

Neva Chance of Triton was the medalist Monday at the All American Conference girls golf tournament at Gates Four Country Club in Fayetteville with a score of 85.

The event was the last league match of the season. Chance won the AAC Player of the Year award and Mark Whitman of the Hawks was named Coach of the Year.

Chance, Tristan Ennis and SueAnna Bass from Triton made first team all-conference.

The Hawks won Monday’s match with a 283 total. Pine Forest was second at 300. Western Harnett (349), Terry Sanford (358) and E.E. Smith (511) rounded out the field.
