Harnett Central took a 2-1 varsity boys soccer win in overtime against visiting Triton on Wednesday night in a matchup of leaders in the All American Conference.

Both of Central’s goals came on headers from Adrian Flores on corner kicks from Richard Diego.

The Trojans improved to 10-4 overall and 9-2 in league play while the Hawks slipped to 13-5-1 and 8-3 going into a home game tonight at 7 p.m. with Terry Sanford (15-5, 9-2).

Central hosts Westover (0-11, 0-11) tonight at 6 p.m.

Down 1-0 at the half, Triton got an equalizer from Elias Lopez with Benny Villalvazo assisting.
