Cape Fear Christian Academy defeated visiting Pungo, 9-0, in the quarterfinals of the NCISAA 1-A girls tennis tournament on Thursday.

The Eagles will host Ridgecroft in the semifinals on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Taking singles wins on Thursday at Nos. 1-6 were Ella John Dupree, Aubrey Jackson, Nina Sauer, Karson Hamilton, Anna Jackson and Savannah Autry.

Teaming in the Nos. 1-3 doubles were Dupree and Anna Jackson, Hamilton and Aubrey Jackson, and Sauer and Autry.

CFCA improved to 13-1 for the season.
