Cape Fear Christian Academy recognized nine athletes who earned NCISAA 1-A all-state honors in fall sports during halftine of the Eagles’ varsity boys basketball game on Friday night.

Selections in volleyball, which won the Mid-Carolina Conference regular-season and tournament championships before reaching the NCISAA semifinals were Bailey Dorman, Abby Hobbs and Rhyleigh Horne. Hobbs as a repeat selection.

The girls tennis team won league regular-season and tournament championships before finishing second in the NCISAA tournament.
Ella John Dupree and Nina Sauer were repeat selections and Aubrey Jackson joined them on the 2022 all-state team.

CFCA won the NCISAA 1-A state championship in boys soccer this fall with Michael Breslin, Caden Scarborough and Tripp Selph making all-state. Selph was playing in a travel soccer tournament and could not be on hand Friday night.
