Cape Fear Christian Academy’s varsity boys basketball team came up on the short end of a 60-55 score in overtime against South Garner on Wednesday in the John Jacobs Christmas Classic at Cleveland High School.

Zeke Brock had 25 points to lead the Eagles (5-8) and Brandon Surles added 16.

Brock had three steals and Surles had three assists.

CFCA played Nash Central on Thursday in the memorial event for the former Cleveland coach.
