Juniors Zeke Brock and Ella John Dupree led Cape Fear Christian Academy into the championship games of the Mid-Carolina 1-A Conference basketball tournaments at Crossroads Christian tonight.
Brock had 44 points in a 104-76 varsity boys win over visiting Lee Christian in the semifinals on Thursday night.
CFCA senior swimmer Ginger Barclay was recognized at halftime of the varsity boys game.
Dupree scored 27 as the Lady Eagles won, 63-58, at Cresset Christian on Thursday.
The CFCA boys (13-14) got 18 points from Brandon Surles. Trevor McLamb scored 11. Caden Scarborough and Seung Yi Surmons added eight points each. Tallying four points each were Wyatt Medlin, Cole Godwin and Lathan Wilborn. Elijah Ellis had three points.
Sawyer Elkins had 33 points for the Falcons.
Gkenna McLamb had 11 points for the Lady Eagles (8-12). Perri Caroline Enis and Laney Trainer scored seven points each.
Niah Torres had five points, Meredith Taylor netted four and Kristina Kennedy scored three.
The CFCA girls play tonight at 6:30 p.m. and the boys are scheduled for an 8 p.m. tipoff.
