The Cape Fear Christian Academy middle school boys golf team won its opening match Thursday at Keith Hills

Ben Thompson and John Russell Wise of the Eagles tied for medalist honors with 46s over the Orange nine as CFCA compiled a 4-player total of 201.

Harnett Central was second at 214. Highland and Coats-Erwin also competed.

The Harnett County Middle School Golf Conference plays again at Keith Hills on March 28 at 3:30 p.m.
