Carolina Wynns had an ace at Quail Ridge on Tuesday.

Carolina Wynns got her first hole in one on Tuesday in a 9-hole match hosted by Grace Christian of Sanford at Quail Ridge.

The Cape Fear Christian Academy seventh-grader hit a 9-iron on No 3, a 116-yard par three. The shot took one bounce and disappeared into the cup.

Wynns had a 37 for medalist honors as the Eagles shot 119 as a team with a 40 from Annabelle Scott and a 42 from Susie Min.

Grace was second with a 146 total. Union Pines was third at 155.
