Cape Fear Christian Academy’s girls tennis team will host Oakwood on Tuesday in the semifinals of the NCISAA 1-A Tournament.
The Eagles defeated Pungo, 7-0, in the quarterfinals on Wednesday to improve to 7-1.
CFCA opened with a doubles sweep of the Raiders that included wins by Karson Hamilton and Savannah Autry at No. 1, Ella Butts and Lily Kate Dupree at No. 2 and Addison Lanpher and Ava Jones at No. 3.
Singles winners were Hamilton at Np. 1, Butts at No. 2, Lanpher at No. 5 and Jones at No. 6.
Autry at No. 3 and Dupree at No. 4 had substantial leads when their matches were halted with the team outcome decided.
