Cape Fear Christian Academy’s middle school basketball teams reached the championship games of the Mid-Carolina Conference tournaments with semifinal wins at home on Monday over Lee Christian.
The CFCA girls topped the Falcons, 35-23, and will play at Crossroads in the title game on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The Eagle boys remained unbeaten in league play with a 58-17 triumph and will host Crossroads in the MCC final on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Middle School Girls
Carolina Wynns led the scoring Monday with 12 points. Bijou Hester had 11 points.
Ellie Shwaikeh had five points. Finlee Ring and Tianna McKoy scored two points each. Kamryn Knight added one point.
Middle School Boys
Eli Shwaikeh had 22 points to lead the Eagles. River Stancil had 11 points.
Ben Thompson had six points. Sam Hudson scored five. Luke Meyer and Henry Smith each had four points. Jayce Barker, Carter Glass and John Andemichael had two points each.
