Logan Atkins led Midway and was recognized for sportsmanship.

Midway finished second on Monday in the NCHSAA 2-A golf tournament at Pinehurst No. 6.

The event was only one round this year.

The Raiders posted a 325 total. Lake Norman Charter was first at 311.

Sophomore Logan Atkins shot a 3-over par 75 to lead Midway and finish in a tie for fourth individually.

Atkins shared the 2021 Sportsmanship Award for the tournament with Garson Long of Lake Norman Charter.

Caden Hodges of the Raiders had a 76 and tied for seventh.

Also scoring for Midway were John Michael Best and Jackson Lee, who each shot 87.
