For the second straight night, the host Salem Red Sox topped the Buies Creek Astros, 4-3.

Salem scored three times in the bottom of the ninth inning on Friday night after Bobby Dalbec led off with a homer.

Anibal Sierra went 2-for-4 with a home run for Buies Creek.

Abraham Toro-Hernandez was 2-for-4 with a double in the loss. Troy Sieber had an RBI for the Astros.

Buies Creek’s game at Salem on Saturday was postponed due to rain.
