Trailing 4-2, the Buies Creek Astros came back with four runs in the seventh inning and went on to take an 8-4 Carolina League baseball win over the Carolina Mudcats at Five County Stadium in Zebulon on Thursday night.

Chuckie Robinson had a two-run homer for Buies Creek (10–5) in the seventh. Ronnie Dawson had a solo shot in a two-run third.

Osvaldo Duarte had a double, a triple and finished with three RBIs for the Astros. Chas McCormick had a double and an RBI.

Carson LaRue (1-0) got the win in relief. He went the last four innings with three hits, two walks and four strikeouts.
