The Black team topped the Orange, 13-5, on Saturday to win Campbell’s Steaks and Franks Fall World Series, two games to one.
The Black team was coached by Wes Hunt and Alec Olsen. Redshirt freshman Cameron Barefoot of Midway and freshman Dalen Thompson of Triton were on the Black team.
Campbell was 37-18 in 2021, including 28-9 in the Big South Conference. The Camels went 2-2 in the NCAA regional at Mississippi State.
Campbell starts the 2022 season at home against Appalachian State with a 3-game series, February 18-20.
