Zeke Brock of Cape Fear Christian Academy has been named to the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association boys 1-A All-State basketball team.

Brock, a junior guard, averaged 34.6 points per game during the 2022-23 season. He led all NCISAA players in scoring average and was second in the state among players including the NCHSAA. He scored his 1,000th career point on Dec. 29.

Brock had 1,004 points in 29 games this season.

He led the state in assists as a sophomore with 10.8 per game, but adjusted his game to score more with personnel losses from the 2021-22 Eagles.
