Camels sign 10 for football

BUIES CREEK — Campbell opened its 2021 football signing period on Wednesday, inking 10 future Camels.

The group includes six offensive and four defensive players, including three offensive linemen, two wide receivers and a running back, as well as three defensive linemen and a linebacker.

Of the 10 newcomers, four will stay in their home state of North Carolina, with two coming from South Carolina and one apiece from Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Virginia.

The NCAA Division I Football early signing period runs December 16-18. The regular signing period also runs from February 3 until April 1.
