Harnett Central split its All American Conference baseball and softball matchups with Terry Sanford.
On Tuesday at Central, the Trojans took a 20-0 softball win and the Bulldogs prevailed, 10-7, in baseball.
On Friday in games at Terry Sanford, the Trojans remained unbeaten in league play by an 18-1 margin and the Bulldogs also remained unblemished in the conference by a 13-3 margin in six innings.
Kacey Fulcher led the softball win on Tuesday with three hits and three RBIs at the plate while pitching a 1-hit shutout with seven strikeouts.
The Trojans scored 11 runs in the first inning.
Rylan Wester had two hits and two RBIs for Central in baseball on Tuesday. Brantley Champion had two hits and an RBI. Helder Bejarano had two hits and scored two runs.
Lance Noon drove in three runs for Terry Sanford (12-2, 8-0 AAC).
Central slipped to 5-7 and 4-4 going into a nonconference contest at Lee County on Monday at 7 p.m.
Central (11-2, 8-0) hosts E.E. Smith for a softball doubleheader on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Host Terry Sanford topped Central, 2-1, in varsity girls soccer on Friday. Ava Hollingsworth assisted Lily Adams for the Trojans’ goal as Central slipped to 7-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the AAC going into a home game with E.E. Smith on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
