After an 0-2 start, Harnett Central won its third straight varsity volleyball match, 3-0, at Southern Lee on Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-22, 25-22 and 22-17.

Syniah NcMiller, a 6-feet, 3-inch senior, had 18 kills against the Cavaliers. Harper Howell had six kills. Carlie Love had four service aces.

The Trojans play at Triton this evening (Thursday, December 3). Ashley Gaines of the Central coaching staff will be returning to her alma mater, where her mother, Wendy Simmons, is the coach.
