CFCA Booster Club golf attracts 20 teams

Three groups posted 15-under par scores of 56 in the Cape Fear Christian Academy Booster Club golf tournament at Chicora on Thursday.

Taking first place in a scorecard playoff that began on No. 1 was the team of Kyle Turlington, Will Peregoy, Jake Jernigan and Chris Starling.

There were 20 teams playing.

Second place went to Seth Lucas, Branson Raynor, Matthew Melvin and Sumner Tate.

Taking third were Stuart Betts, Matthew Gardner, John Johnson and John Weatherly.
