Led by 24 points from DeShawn Woods, the Cape Fear Christian Academy varsity boys basketball team took a 65-58 Sandhills Athletic Conference win at Village Christian on Tuesday.

Zeke Brock had 19 points and nine assists as the Eagles improved to 10-8 overall and 3-3 in league play.

Reid Miller had 10 points and 13 rebounds as CFCA played the Knights for the second straight game after a 76-57 home win on January 19.

There was only one game between the schools as Village does not have a junior varsity boys or varsity girls team this season.

David Okropiridze had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Eagles on Tuesday. Jakson Cullen added two points and three rebounds.

CFCA hosts Wake Christian for nonconference games on Thursday.
