Cape Fear Christian Academy completed an unbeaten middle school golf season on May 7 at Carolina Lakes.

The Eagles had a 172 team total that included a 37 from Ben Thompson for medalist honors. Jon Rissell Wise shot 38 for CFCA. Ezra Smith carded a 45 and Thomas Hall contributed a 52.

Host Highland was second at 210. Harnett Central finished at 213 and Coats-Erwin came in at 222.

“We are proud of the effort and improvement shown by these young men,” said Eagles coach Graham Thompson after his team went 5-0.
