Cape Fear Christian Academy hosted James Kenan for a varsity girls basketball scrimmage on Thursday night.

No official score was kept but those closely monitoring the matchup noted that CFCA closed a 33-17 deficit at the half to 50-45 by the end of the evening.

The CFCA girls went to James Kenan for a scrimmage on Monday night and have shown improvement during the week.

The Lady Eagles got to a jamboree at Clinton on Saturday.

CFCA hosts Raleigh Homeschool for junior varsity boys and varsity boys games at 5 and 6:30 tonight.
