Cape Fear Christian Academy’s girls tennis team improved to 3-0 with an 8-1 victory over Wayne Prep in a match played at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course on Thursday.
The Eagles swept singles as Ella John Dupree, Karson Hamilton, Savannah Autry, Lily Kate Dupree, Ella Butts and Ava Jones won at Nos. 1-6.
Doubles winners for CFCA included Butts and Jones at No. 1, and Addison Lanpher and Isabella Autry at No. 3.
The Eagles are scheduled to host Village on Monday at Triton at 4 p.m.
