“While I’m always happy to have a win, I think we could have done better today,” said CFCA coach Michael Beslin. “The girls faced a lot of challenges — a late kickoff, bad weather, prom and spring break rapidly approaching, and playing a team we beat handily earlier in the season.”
CFCA won, 9-0, at Northwood Temple on March 11.
“These factors contributed to a slow start and too many little errors on the basics,” Breslin said. “Having said that, I’m proud of how the team fought through it all and came out with a victory. I’m proud of what this team has accomplished so far this season. For the most part, we are playing as a cohesive unit and continuing to grow and I look forward to rest of the season.”
