Cape Fear Christian Academy’s varsity boys basketball team has received a berth in the NCISAA 1-A Tournament and will host Neuse Christian on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the opening round.

CFCA (10-19) and Neuse (10-11) were in the same conference until this school year.

The winner advances to play at fifth-seeded United Faith Christian Academy of Charlotte (19-10) in the second round on Thursday. That winner plays at No. 4 seed Northwood Temple of Fayetteville (14-18) on Saturday (Feb. 17).

Trinity Christian School of Fayetteville (22-6) is the No. 1 seed in the 16-team field.
