The Cape Fear Christian Academy middle school girls basketball team remained unbeaten with a 24-17 Southeastern Conference win over visiting Fayetteville Academy on Thursday afternoon.
Aubree Bass had 15 points as CFCA improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in league play. Laney Trainer had four points, Ella John Dupree scored three and Madeline Brocious added two points.
Fayetteville Academy took a 43-28 win in the boys game despite nine points from Wyatt Medlin. Eli Burns had five points and Conner Parrish scored four.
Tallying two points each for CFCA were Thomas Honeycutt, Patrick Raynor, Landon Alphin and Tony Cornette.
The CFCA middle school teams host St. John Paul II on Monday.
