Cape Fear Christian Academy advanced in the Southeastern Middle School Athletic Conference softball semifinals on Monday with a 16-0 win over visiting Village Christian.

Aubree Bass pitched the shutout for the Eagles.

CFCA will meet the winner between Fayetteville Christian and Freedom Christian in the final.

The Eagle varsity is scheduled to host Riverside today (Tuesday, May 7) in a nonconference game.
