Julia Scott made her Cape Fear Christian Academy debut as a pitcher on Tuesday in a 17-1 win over visiting Village Christian.
Scott pitched two and one-third innings and allowed one run. She was 2-for-3 at the plate and scored twice.
Larah Tripp had an inside-the-park home run.
Kristina Kennedy finished the game in the circle and got the last two outs on seven pitches. Kennedy was 3-for-3 in the 3-inning game.
Also going 3-for-3 for the Eagles were Megan Harrold, Kailynn Cumbie and Karli Johnson.
