CFCA middle school volleyball moves to 12-0

Cape Fear Christian Academy’s middle school volleyball team moved to 12-0 with a pair of 2-0 wins over visiting St. Patrick’s on Tuesday afternoon.

The CFCA junior varsity volleyball team also remained unbeaten in the Sandhills Athletic Conference, topping Freedom Christian 2-1 (25-23, 16-25, 15-11) in the Eagles’ gym in the subsequent match.

Freedom, the defending NCISAA 2-A champions took the varsity volleyball contest, 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-16) although the Eagles had early leads in the last to sets.

The middle school Eagles host Fayetteville Christian in another Southeastern Conference match on Thursday at 4 p.m.

The CFCA junior varsity and varsity travel to take on Trinity Christian at the John D. Fuller Recreation Center in Fayetteville on Thursday.
