CFCA moves to 3-0 in SAC girls tennis with 9-0 victory

Cape Fear Christian Academy’s girls tennis team improved to 3-0 in the Sandhills Athletic Conference and 3-2 overall with a 9-0 win Wednesday over visiting Village Christian at the Harnett Central courts.

The Eagles complete regular-season play in the SAC today (Thursday, October 1) with a match against Fayetteville Christian at the Gates Four Club in Fayetteville at 4 p.m.

Singles winners for CFCA on Wednesday included Ella John Dupree (6-0, 6-0) at No. 1, Anna Jackson (6-0, 6-0) at No. 2, Madeline Brocious (6-0, 6-2) at No. 3, Aubrey Jackson (6-0, 6-0) at No. 4, Nina Sauer (6-0, 6-0) at No. 5 and Karson Hamilton (6-1, 6-0) at No. 6.

CFCA won all three doubles by 8-0 margins with Dupree and Anna Jackson teaming up at No, 1, Brocious and Aubrey Jackson playing at No. 2 and Sauer combining with Hamilton at No. 3.
