Cape Fear Christian Academy’s varsity softball team has received its rings for winning the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association 1-A championship in softball last spring.
CFCA hosted the state tournament double-elimination Final Four in 2019 as the No. 4 seed.
Official practice for the 2020 season starts Feb. 10.
CFCA teams have been conducting voluntary workouts in baseball, girls soccer and softball as the spring seasons approach.
