CFCA splits middle school matchups with Northwood Temple

Cape Fear Christian Academy split its Southeastern Middle School Athletic Conference basketball games visiting Northwood Temple Academy on Monday afternoon.

CFCA won the girls game, 54-16, as Aubree Bass scored 16 points and Ella John Dupree tallied 12. Perri Caroline Ennis had eight points in the win. Rachel Clearman had six points. Adding four points each were Harmony Horne, Ruby George and Madeline Brocious.

Nothwood took the boys game, 62-48, despite 21 points by Jakson Cullen and 19 from Zeke Brock. Scoring two points apiece were Eli Burns, Landon Alphin, Wyatt Medlin and David Clearman.

CFCA’s middle school games scheduled for Thursday at St. John Paul II in Southern Pines have been postponed to Jan. 31 due to exams.
