Cape Fear Christian Academy took a Mid-Carolina Conference basketball sweep at Lee Christian on Monday
CFCA won the varsity boys game, 73-66, as Zeke Brock scored 30 points before fouling out midway through the fourth quarter.
“(Jakson) Cullen stepped up for us offensively late in the fourth to seal the win,” said Eagles coach Dwain Ellis.
Cullen had 20 points as CFCA improved to 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the MCC. Caden Scarborough had eight points and Elijah Ellis had 10 rebounds, including seven in the second half.
Varsity Girls
The Lady Eagles won the varsity girls game, 48-23, as Ella John Dupree had 16 points.
Glenna McLamb had 11 points as CFCA improved to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in league play.
Savannah Autry had nine points in the win, Perri Caroline Ennis tallied seven, Laney Trainer scored three and Madeline Brocious added two points.
Junior Varsity Boys
A 53-25 win moved the CFCA JV boys to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the MCC.
Conner Parrish had 17 points in the sixth straight win for the junior Eagles. Braxton Davis came off the bench for nine points on three 3-pointers.
Justin Chestnut had eight points and 12 rebounds. Cade Godwin finished with seven points. Fisher Stancil contributed five points. Scoring two points each were Elijah Ellis, Chris Crume and Mason Gregory. Eli Burns had one point.

CFCA’s middle school teams play at Lee Christian on Thursday. The girls game is scheduled for 5 p.m. with the boys game to follow.
The Eagles junior varsity boys visit Village Christian on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
CFCA hosts Cresset for MCC games on Friday. The middle school girls play at 4 p.m. with middle school boys, varsity girls and varsity boys to follow.
