Cape Fear Christian Academy swept its Sandhills Athletic Conference junior varsity and varsity volleyball matches with visiting Trinity Christian of Fayetteville on Thursday.

The Eagles JV took a 2-0 win to remain unbeaten in league play.

The CFCA varsity prevailed 3-0 for its second conference win.

The Eagles varsity visits Northwood Temple on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Middle School

The CFCA middle school team absorbed its first loss of the season after 13 wins with a 2-1 defeat at Berean Baptist of Fayetteville on Thursday. CFCA bounced back for a split with a 2-1 victory.

The first match was 21-25, 25-19 and 9-15. CFCA took the second match 25-18, 19-25 and 15-10.

The Eagle middle school team hosts O’Neal School of Southern Pines on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in a make-up doubleheader.
