Cape Fear Christian Academy’s junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams posted Sandhills Athletic Conference wins at Northwood Temple on Tuesday.
The CFCA varsity bounced back from a 3-1 home loss to league-leading Fayetteville Christian on Monday to defeat host Northwood Temple, 3-0, on Tuesday. Set scores against NTA were 25-23, 25-19 and 25-20.
The CFCA varsity improved to 12-7 overall and 7-4 in league play going into the regular-season finale on Thursday at Village Christian.
The CFCA JV is 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in the conference after topping Fayetteville Christian, 2-1 (25-18, 21-25, 15-10), on Monday and Northwood, 2-1 (26-24, 22-25, 15-10), on Tuesday.
