Spencer George and his sister, Ruby George, each got a pair of second-place finishes in a seven-team swim meet at the Aquaventure facility in Winterville on Tuesday.

Spencer George, a senior, had a time of one minute, 52.62 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle and completed the 100 backstroke in 59.05.

Ruby George, a freshman, swam the 200 intermediate in 2:35.39 and was second in the 100 free in 1:01.64.

The Eagles were fifth among seven teams in the boys and girls combined team scoring with a relatively small number of swimmers.
