Cape Fear Christian Academy took a 3-1 nonconference varsity volleyball win at Village Christian on Wednesday.
Set scores were 25-19, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-7.
“The players went in very relaxed,” said Coach Paul Hobbs after the Eagles improved to 14-7. “I stressed to leave school at school and any issue off the court and to play as one. They had a great time playing without any distractions.”
Bailey Dorman had eight aces, 14 kills and 14 digs for CFCA. Abby Hobbs finished with 10 kills and 21 assists. Madeline Brocious had six kills. Rhyleigh Horne totaled 18 digs. Meredith Taylor had four kills.
The Eagles return to Mid-Carolina Conference play on Tuesday at home against Lee Christian.
