Cape Fear Christian Academy’s middle school basketball teams celebrated Homecoming on Monday with a pair of Southeastern Conference wins over Berean Baptist.
The Eagle girls defeated the Bulldogs, 31-0, and the CFCA boys outscored the visitors, 13-5, in the fourth quarter for a 39-34 victory.
Kristina Kennedy had 11 points as the CFCA girls improved to 3-3. Scoring four points each were Savannah Autry, Courtney Butts, Peyton Dunn, Ella Wilborn and Christianna Wynns.
Scoring for the CFCA boys (5-2) included Cade Godwin with 11, Conner Parrish with nine, Eli Burns with seven, Alan Hinson with four, Eli Schwaikeh with four, Fisher Stancill with two and Rhett Alphin with two.
The CFCA middle school teams host Fayetteville Academy on Thursday.
