CFCA takes third-round volleyball victory at Grace of Sanford

Sixth-seeded Cape Fear Christian Academy took a 3-1 volleyball victory on Saturday at third-seeded Grace Christian of Sanford in the third round of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association playoffs.

Set scores were 25-20, 26-28, 25-19 and 25-21.

CFCA improved to 17-9 while Grace finished 14-5.

The Eagles play at second-seeded Albemarle (14-3) in the state semifinals on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
