CFCA varsity baseball topped, 7-4, by Pungo

Pungo Christian Academy used five unearned runs to take a 7-4 nonconference varsity baseball win at Cape Fear Christian Academy on Thursday, dropping the Eagles to 3-3.

CFCA was limited to two hits, a double by Fisher Stancil and a single by Landon McLamb.

Each team issued seven walks.

“Errors have been an issue for us,” said Eagles coach Bill Parrish. “Today was no different.”

CFCA committed six errors while the Raiders (3-2) were charged with three.

The Eagles host Fayetteville Christian (0-3) on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
