Cape Fear Christian Academy lost to host Lee Christian to start the Falcon Classic on Saturday but the Eagles regrouped to win the volleyball tournament with a 2-1 victory over Lee Christian in the championship match.

CFCA topped Grace Christian of Sanford and Neuse Christian of Raleigh by 2-0 scores before prevailing 25-23, 23-25 and 25-23 in the final.

Senior setter Natalia Brocious of CFCA was named the Player of the Tournament. Anslee McLamb and Meredith Taylor of the Eagles made the all-tournament team.

CFCA is 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the Sandhills Athletic Conference going into a home league match with Fayetteville Christian on Monday evening.
