The Coats–Erwin Middle School baseball team rallied from a 10-6 deficit in the third inning for a 23-10 win at Shughart on Wednesday.

The Falcons (6-1) had 17 hits.

Catcher Jacob Hartman hit two grand slams and added a triple among four hits.

Dillon Faircloth and Jalen Evans added three hits apiece. Hayden Pope had two hits. Also getting hits were Hunter Thompson, Riley Colville, Jamari Thompson, Shay Jackson and Wyatt Avery.

Pope was the winning pitcher, striking out all 10 Blackhawk batters he faced in relief.

The Falcons host Dunn today (Thursday, April 19).
