Coats-Erwin won volleyball at Dunn Middle School by a 3-0 score on Tuesday. Individual set scores were 25-21, 25-8 and 25-15. Coats-Erwin is now 8-0.

For Coats-Erwin, Marley Colville had two aces. Mary Charlotte Pope had two aces. Gracie Byrd had one kill and three aces. Carleigh Hemby had three kills, two blocks and two aces. Grace Hair had one block and one ace. Abby Hood had six assists, three kills and two aces. Ava Blackman had four kills and eight aces.

Coats-Erwin also won soccer, 3-0. Rafael Macias, Omar Jimenez and Francisco Ortiz had one goal apiece.

Coats-Erwin is at home against Overhills on Thursday. Dunn has an open date Thursday and is at home against Overhills on Tuesday.
