Campbell completed its incoming football recruiting class on Wednesday with the addition of nine future Camels.
The group joins the four who previously signed National Letters of Intent during the December period.
The latest signees include three linebackers, two defensive backs, a wide receiver, a tight end, a kicker and one athlete. Five newcomers come from North Carolina, with two from Florida and one each from South Carolina and Alabama.
“We’re about being physical and being sound football players, and this class gives us that,” said head coach Mike Minter. “We’re pretty big on the offensive and defensive lines to help establish that identity. When you talk about athleticism, speed and the ability to change direction and make explosive plays, that’s what we went and got in this class. This is the identity of what Campbell Football is going to look like.”
The full incoming class of 13 includes three linebackers, three defensive backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, an offensive lineman, an athlete, one kicker and one long snapper.
