BUIES CREEK — Devon Dunn led six Campbell players in double figures with a season-high 19 points and the Camels defeated William Peace, 97-58, in men’s basketball on Wednesday night, December 14, at Gore Arena.
The Camels (5-5) opened the second half on a 14-2 run and led by as many as 40 points against the Division III Pacers.
Jay Pal scored 15 points, Ricky Clemons had 13, and Joshua Lusane tallied 11, while Anthony Dell’Orso and Juan Reyna chipped in 10 points apiece for the Camels, who shot 60.7 percent on the night, 63.6 percent (21-33) in the second half.
Michael Dulin led William Peace with 16 points, including 4-of-9 threes, while Tyler Parton (12) and Timothy Pettiford (10) also hit double digits for the Pacers.
Campbell, which closed the game on a 21-5 burst, held the Pacers to just 33 percent shooting after intermission and outscored the visitors 54-23 in the second half.
