Culbreth gives Raiders back-to-back no-hitters

Eli Culbreth pitched a no-hitter for Midway in a 10-0 East Central 2-A Conference win at Wallace-Rose Hill on Thursday night, giving the Raiders back-to-back no-hitters after Chandler Williford accomplished the feat at home against Spring Creek the previous night.

Culbreth walked three and struck out 11 as Midway moved to 14-0 overall and 8-0 in league play.

A nonconference game at Lakewood on Friday night was rained out.

Carson Calcutt was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for the Raiders, who host Clinton on Tuesday night.

Cameron Calcutt was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Culbreth and Cal Tyndall each had two hits and an RBI. Williford had two RBIs. Brayden Coats and Cameron Barefoot each had hits.
